Atlas C.1 Union Jack Structured Twill Cap
Powered by four EuroProp TP400 turboprop engines, the Atlas C.1 combines strategic airlift capability with tactical operations from short or semi-prepared runways. The aircraft can transport troops, vehicles, helicopters, pallets, medical evacuation modules, and oversized cargo while also supporting parachute operations and humanitarian relief missions. Operated primarily by No. 30 Squadron RAF, No. LXX Squadron RAF, and No. XXIV Squadron RAF from RAF Brize Norton, the Atlas has supported operations in the Middle East, the Falklands, and numerous global humanitarian and evacuation missions. Following the retirement of the RAF’s C-130J Hercules fleet in 2023, the Atlas became the RAF’s primary tactical airlift aircraft and a central component of Britain’s global air mobility capability
