RAF Roundel (Type A.2) Distressed Dad Hat
The Type A.2 was a less common variation of the yellow-bordered Type A roundel that appeared from around 1940. Its proportions differed from the Type A.1, reducing the prominence of the yellow surround while still providing contrast against camouflage. It was used on a limited range of RAF and Fleet Air Arm aircraft during the early years of the Second World War and had largely disappeared by 1942.
