This design is based on the P-51 Mustang (B6-S, serial number 44-14450) nicknamed “Old Crow” flown by General Clarence “Bud” Anderson of the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group. General Anderson was an American fighter ace with 16 ¼ victories. He flew combat missions in WWII in the P-51 and also in Vietnam flying the F-105. He retired from the Air Force in 1972 as a Colonel having been awarded during his service the Legion of Merit x 2, Distinguished Flying Cross x 5, Bronze Star and 16 x Air Medals and many more.
