P-51 "Creamer's Dream" Low Top Canvas Shoes
This design is inspired by on the P-51 Mustang “Creamer’s Dream” as flown by Lt. Charles White (later Captain) of the famous 332nd Fighter Group also known as the Tuskegee Airmen. White flew 65 missions with the 301st Fighter Squadron and on April 1st 1945 shot down two Me 109 whilst flying this aircraft. For his service he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal (x7), Bronze Star (x7) and the Congressional Gold Medal.
White’s aircraft also had a side view of a nude lady laying across both sides of his aircraft. Unfortunately, due to the limited space available on our shoes some elements that appear on an aircraft may not necessarily appear on our shoes – as is the case here.
