The BAE Systems Hawk is a British advanced jet trainer developed by Hawker Siddeley, later produced by BAE Systems, for the Royal Air Force. Designed to prepare pilots for frontline fast-jet operations, the Hawk first flew in 1974 and entered RAF service in 1976. Powered by a single Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour turbofan engine, the aircraft combined good handling characteristics, reliability, and relatively low operating costs, making it one of the most successful jet trainers of the modern era. In RAF service, the Hawk has been used for advanced flying training, weapons instruction, tactical training, and aggressor duties.

The Hawk became internationally famous as the aircraft of the Red Arrows, which adopted the type in 1979 and continues to operate it today. Numerous Hawk variants have been developed, including the Hawk T.1, T.2, and export versions equipped for both training and light attack missions. Around 1,000 Hawks have been built across all variants, with the aircraft serving with air arms in around 20 countries worldwide. The Hawk has trained generations of RAF fast-jet pilots and remains an important part of British military pilot training nearly 50 years after entering RAF service.
