F-4J NATOPS Inspired Hardcover Journal
During the Vietnam War, the F-4 Phantom was flown by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps. The Air Force primarily used it for air superiority and bombing missions, while the Navy and Marine Corps employed it for both air-to-air combat and close air support missions. The F-4's versatility and powerful radar made it a key asset across all branches, contributing significantly to the U.S. military's efforts in the conflict. It was known as the "world's leading distributor of MiG parts" because it shot down numerous MiG fighters during the conflict, with over 100 MiG kills credited to its pilots.
