The F-15 Eagle boasts an incredible air-to-air combat record with over 104 confirmed kills and zero losses, making it one of the most successful fighters in history. Israeli F-15s account for the majority, with at least 60 kills, primarily during the 1982 Lebanon War. U.S. F-15s achieved 36 kills during Operation Desert Storm in 1991, downing a mix of Iraqi MiGs, Su-22s, and Mirage F1s. Saudi F-15s have also scored kills, including two Iranian F-4s in 1984. With its advanced radar, Mach 2.5 speed, and potent weaponry, the F-15 remains a dominant force in air combat, maintaining a flawless record.

Why are the stripes vertical?
Great question - and you're absolutely right that the U.S. flag is usually displayed with horizontal stripes. But in this design, we’ve reimagined the flag as an artistic tribute rather than a literal representation. We chose to depict the flag as if it were hanging vertically from above, similar to how it might appear draped at a hangar entrance or suspended during a ceremony. This vertical orientation allows the iconic silhouette of the aircraft to really shine - with the red and white stripes running the length of the fuselage, it creates a bold, centred look while still honouring the flag’s spirit and symbolism.
