The CF-100 "Canuck" was a Canadian-designed and built all-weather interceptor used by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during the Cold War. First flown in 1950, the CF-100 was the only Canadian-designed fighter to enter mass production and operational service. It was capable of carrying both rockets and missiles and was notable for its twin-engine, twin-seat design. The CF-100 remained in service until 1981, leaving a lasting legacy as a key component of Canada’s air defense during the Cold War.
