landed at Bulltofta Airfield, near Malmö, Sweden. (MACR 5354) After the war, the aircraft was used as Swedish airliner after which it was sold to a buyer in Denmark for $1 and named “Stig Viking” and then “Store Bjorn”. It was later bought by IGNF (Institut national de l'information Géographique et Forestière), and used for geographical work before retiring at Creuil, France. The aircraft was finally sold to the USAF for 20 cents and re-stored at Wright-Patterson Airfield, where it undertook a long-term restoration and was placed on static display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Dayton, Ohio.   The aircraft will soon be moved to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
