The F-14 Tomcat achieved an air-to-air combat record of at least 135 confirmed kills, primarily through its service with the Iranian Air Force during the Iran-Iraq War, where Iranian F-14s were credited with over 130 kills against Iraqi aircraft, including MiGs and Su-22s. U.S. Navy F-14s scored a smaller number of kills, with 5 confirmed victories, including engagements during Operation Desert Storm and earlier skirmishes in the Gulf of Sidra.
