Did You Know?This design is based on the P-51 Mustang (HO-P, serial number 44-13321) nicknamed "Cripes A' Mighty 3rd" flown by Major George E "Ratsy" Preddy Jr. of the 487th Fighter Squadron, 352nd Fighter Group. Preddy was the top scoring P-51 Mustang ace of WWII with over 26 victories, and 8th on the all-time highest scoring American aces. Sadly, at age 25, he was killed on the morning of December 25, 1944, by friendly fire. His military decorations include the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star x 2, Distinguished Flying Cross x 7, Purple Heart and 7x Air Medals
